The Instagram++ app lets you safely unfollow people on Instagram. It’s just like the regular Instagram app, but with this handy feature. To unfollow someone using this version of the Instagram app, first, download it from either the Google Play Store or Apple’s App Store. Once you have the app, log in with your credentials. Then, go to the person’s profile whom you want to unfollow and tap the “Following” button.
After you have logged in, please click on the profile (head-shoulder) icon and file page, and then click “Following” at the top of the right. To stop following someone, tap the “Following” button next to their username.
If you want to stop following someone on Instagram, open the app and go to your profile page. Click on the ‘profile’ icon on the bottom right corner of the home screen. Then, find the person you want to stop following and click on their name. A menu will pop up asking if you’re sure you want to unfollow them. Confirm by clicking ‘Unfollow’.

However, the route for both methods is very similar. To unfollow someone, you have to open your following list and hit the ‘Following’ button next to their name. Let’s start with the first method, which is slightly quicker.
Go to Following List
After you log in, you will be taken to your account’s home page. At the bottom of the page, you will find various options for different features. To access your profile, click on the “profile icon” in the bottom right corner of the home screen. This icon is in the shape of a human upper body with a head and shoulders. Once you click on this option, you will be taken to your profile page.
You can find your profile picture on the left, and your posts, followers, and followings on the right. To unfollow someone, go to the “Following” section. There’s a complete list of people you follow on the ‘Following’ page. To unfollow someone, just tap their name and then hit the unfollow button.
Tap on ‘Following’ beside the name
A single tap on the “Following” heading will open a list of the names of people you follow, in chronological order from latest to earliest. Now, in the list, you will see a “username” on the left, and a “Following” button to unfollow on the right, in front of the username.
The easiest way to unfollow someone is to hit the “Following” button in front of their username. Once you tap on it, it will turn into a blue “Follow” button, meaning the person is successfully unfollowed.
Simply, tap on “Following” and unfollow the people, as many as you want.

Go to Following List
Firstly, open Instagram and log in using your credentials. Once you are logged in, you will be redirected to the home page. At the bottom of the home page, you will see multiple options to choose from.
The Following list is an option tab that can be found on your profile page. To reach your profile page, click on the “profile icon” at the bottom right corner of the home screen. Over there on the top, you’ll find a profile picture on the left, then headings for posts, followers, and followings. Now tap on the “Following” heading, and the complete list of usernames of people you follow will appear on the screen.

The following tab will get open on the screen. There, in the ‘Following’ list, you will see a “username” on the left and a “Following” button to unfollow on the right, just in front of the username. To unfollow someone, go to their profile and hit the “Following” button. A confirmation will pop up on the screen; tap on “Unfollow” to confirm. This will turn the ‘Following’ button into the “Follow” blue button.
Tap for each people & ‘Confirm’ every time
To unfollow anyone from the ‘Following’ list, just tap on the ‘Following’ button and confirm > “Unfollow”. The person will be unfollowed.
The only way to unfollow somebody is to go to their ‘Following’ list and hit the ‘Following’ button. This is the only way to unfollow someone. You have to go to their ‘Following’ list and hit the ‘Following’ button.
This will ensure that you are no longer following the person in question. There are two ways to go about this, both of which are detailed in the article above.
