Enable Dark mode for OneNote on Windows 10
To enable Dark Mode for OneNote in Windows 10, you’ll need to go through some menu settings within the app.
- Open OneNote
- Choose Settings and more option.
- Select Settings.
- Switch to Options.
- Choose Dark Mode.
The dark mode setting in Outlook and OneNote can be useful for reducing eye strain in low light or if you prefer a darker interface.
Open your OneNote app in Windows 10.

Click the three dots in the upper-right corner of your screen, then select Settings. From the options displayed, choose Dark Mode.
Enable Dark mode for Outlook on Windows 10
To enable Dark Mode for Outlook in Windows 10, please follow these steps:
- Open Outlook.
- Go to the File tab, and click on it.
- Go to options.
- The General tab contains settings that apply to all users on your site.
- In the right-pane, scroll down to change your Microsoft Office settings to suit your needs.
- Under the Office Theme drop-down arrow, click the words “drop-down arrow.”
- Select Black color.
Open Microsoft Outlook on your PC. Click the File tab on the Ribbon menu. Click File and select Options at the bottom.
Next, change to the General Tab. In the right-pane, scroll down to the “Personalize your copy of Microsoft Office” section. To enable dark mode in Outlook, go to the Office Theme entry and choose the Black color.
From now on, any content you create in OneNote or Outlook while in Dark Mode will be visible to anyone viewing the same pages in Light Mode.
