If your Outlook app isn’t working correctly, it may be because there’s an update pending. To fix this, open the Google Play Store and navigate to your profile photo at the top right corner of the screen. The photo icon on your device’s home screen likely has a little arrow next to it. Tap that arrow, and then select Manage Apps & Devices.
Once you’re in that section, you should see a subsection that’s labeled Updates. If there are any updates available for your apps, you’ll see the number of them here, along with the Update All and See Details buttons. Tap on See Details to see the list of apps. You can choose to update them individually, or revert to Update All to update them all at once.
3] Turn off the Battery Saver Mode
In order to ensure a longer battery life while out and about, it is best to turn off Battery Saver mode. However, this may hamper the performance of some background apps. To turn Battery Saver mode off, navigate to Settings > Battery and turn off either Battery Saver or Adaptive Battery. Go to Settings > Device Management > Battery > Sleeping apps. Remove Outlook for Android from the list.
4] Check if notification is turned on
Open the Outlook app, and go to the Home screen or your profile icon. Then, select the Settings icon at the bottom corner. From there, check if the notification feature is enabled. Notifications can be triggered for each of your email accounts by scrolling down to the notifications section and choosing the right option.
5] Clear Outlook for Android’s cache and data
To clear your Outlook cache and data, long press on the Outlook icon, then click on App Info. From there, tap on Storage and select either Clear Data or Clear Cache. We suggest choosing both. After you’ve completed the necessary changes, you can open Outlook to check if everything is working properly.
Why is Outlook not notifying me of new emails?

Why is my phone not notifying me of emails?
We suggest checking if the volume is turned down or muted. Alternatively, we suggest checking if Do Not Disturb is activated. If it is, then disable it and you should be notified of the arrival of your next email.
