Navigator software that provides route planning, forecasting, and charting capabilities for sailors and fisherman.
Time Zero: Best For
An aquatic navigation platform that prepares charts, manages routes, and forecasts weather for small to large sailing teams.
The Nobel Tec Time Zero software offers us an incredible opportunity to get trained directly from them. Additionally, Furuno will be joining us due to the compatibility of their network sensors with this comprehensive navigation software. It is primarily fishermen who will benefit from the Personal Bathymetry Generator module, or PBG, which records seafloor soundings and updates them in real time.
TimeZero Professional navigation software V4 by MaxSea has just been released.
As part of TZ Professional software, a number of new features are available that will expand the functionality for fishing and navigation for professional users.
TZ Professional V4’s cutting-edge technology allows users to display the active route and distance between tracks directly on the camera’s video feed, thanks to augmented reality.
AIS-equipped boats can be identified and collided with less risk when users are aware others around them are also using the system. Visualize every buoy and route point through a live video stream, even when the weather is foggy.
There is also the Ocean-O Premium service, which targets pelagic fishing. The new option is intended to help define the most productive fishing grounds. Pelagic species do indeed follow different parameters like altitude, surface temperatures, and currents.
This capability provides the capability of pinpointing the position of the trawl doors, with the benefits of being able to work around seabed obstructions and on difficult terrain.
Users can measure bottom hardness with a bottom hardness module using NMEA0183 devices, such as the Simrad ES70, Simrad ES80, Koden CVS-FX series, Hondex HDX-121, HE-1500Di, and HE-7300Di, JRC JFC-130 series and Seascan sounders.
The Time Zero v4 software also supports multi-beam sounder integration exclusively on WASSP F3 and Furuno DFF-3D models, which can save up to 500,000 fish targets into a database. As a result, the chart and the 3D Cube can be displayed alongside these targets.
A new bottom lock and bottom zoom sounder view is available as well. In this way, fish on the bottom can be distinguished from fish on the seabed. Additionally, the display of the bottom and the nearby fish enables a more accurate assessment of bottom density.
A secondary service offered by TZ Professional is Premium Ocean-O, designed for pelagic fishing. The new option defines optimum fishing zones for pelagic fish, depending on factors such as temperature, current, and altimetry.
In addition to providing multi-day oceanographic forecasts, TZ Professional is the only system that can direct the user directly to the best fishing areas.
